Well I finally applied for Giant Squid on Squidoo

...but forgive me if I am not doing cartwheels. Father's Day turned into a very sad day for us. One of our young bunnies was taken ill on Saturday evening and although the prognosis looked OK on Saturday night, by Sunday blood tests had shown an untreatable problem and we had to have her put to sleep.

The girls are devastated. There's something very hard about losing a young pet - when they are old and have had a good life, it's not quite so bad.

So things are very subdued in AJ's household today. As a Mum you just want to be able to take your children's pain away but sometimes you can't. You just have to help them work through it, knowing that each day will get easier.
